Do You Have a Book Club?

Preliteracy and literacy are huge predictors of academic success. Books and teaching a love of reading are so important in every student’s life. I’m always looking for more ways to incorporate books into my therapy room.

I found a new product that made my heart skip a beat. Have you seen the March Book Club Bundle by WhitneySLP? It is a set of four book companions all rolled in to one download! Each book could match up to a week of therapy, thus my month could be basically planned out.
Another great aspect of this bundle is that there are four types of books included: fiction, non-fiction, something seasonal, and an anytime story that I could use at any point in the year instead of in March, if I so choose. <img src=’/img/blog/blog-bookclub2-186.jpg’ class=‘thumbnail previewable’style=‘float:right;’/> (In this case, the non-fiction book is From Caterpillar to Butterfly, which would be a nice segue to Owly & Wormy, Friends All Aflutter! )
Whitney had a great idea and this is a fantastic resource! I wish I had seen her February Book Club Bundle, which has some of my favorite books for February. These are the top items in my cart!
